Jayne Whitman, MSAC, Dipl.Ac., L.Ac.
Jayne is a NY state licensed and NCCAOM board-certified acupuncturist. She received her Masters of Science in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science, NY, and is certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
Jayne has experience treating a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, digestive and autoimmune conditions, painful or irregular periods, PMS/PMDD, PCOS, fertility (&IVF, IUI, egg freezing)/pregnancy/postpartum support, perimenopause/menopause, immune system support, headaches/migraines, and chronic pain. Her passion lies in treating mental/sleep health, fertility, and chronic illness, as well as supporting those undergoing oncology treatments.
Jayne first discovered acupuncture during her battle with chronic Lyme disease. She learned how impactful not only acupuncture itself can be, but how powerful it is to have an acupuncturist in your corner who you trust and who can guide you to grow and heal, feel safe and heard, and to find comfort during difficult times. Jayne's own experience with chronic illness allows her to bring a deep sense of empathy and compassion to each of her treatments.
Jayne is inspired by Chinese medicine’s capacity to look at the whole person and get to the root cause of discomfort, disease, and disharmony. Before studying acupuncture, Jayne received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Fine Arts, and believes that acupuncture is a form of art in its own way.
